Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a newly formed theatre company. From 2014 to 2019, she served as artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. While Artistic Director of SSC she also served as the company's producer costume/set designer composer/music director and text coach. However, she mostly directed from within the actors' ensemble, during the final year of her tenure, she made her debut as a director (and lighting designer) in the company's King Lear.
